Configure Other Settings

In the Other tab of step 3 of the configuration process, you can enable various options for the configured installer package.

Startup Protection

Use the CAPTCHA or PIN Code startup protection options to prompt the user to enter a protection code at the beginning of the installation process (or, for Agent, before it can be launched).

These options are intended to protect against automated or unauthorized installations. To install the package, the user (or bot) must either enter the displayed CAPTCHA or — for stronger protection — provide the PIN code that you set during configuration.

Note: Startup Protection options are not available for the MSI package type.
