The connection log (also called event log) is a record of connection events available in the Viewer. The connection log helps you diagnose connection problems on the Viewer side.
Connection (Viewer) log only tracks connection data on the Viewer side. The Host log automatically logs events on the Host side.
Enabling connection log
By default the connection log is disabled. To enable the connection log:
- In the Viewer, select the Tools tab and click Options:
- In the Options window switch to the Event log tab and enable Use event log. Click OK:
- In the main Viewer window, select the View tab and click Show event log:
- The log panel will appear in the Viewer interface. When you connect to a remote computer, the log panel is populated with logged data:
