A notification panel is a small window shown on the remote Host (or Agent) screen once the Viewer has authorized (logged in) on the Host/Agent:

By default the notification panel is disabled for the Host and enabled for the Agent. The remote user can terminate the session by clicking the X button. The panel can be moved around the screen for better location.

Enabling notification panel

  1. On the remote computer, right click the Host icon in the system tray and select Settings for Host: Host menu - Settings for Host
  2. In the configuration window click Interface and select Show notification panel: Settings for Host - Enable notification panel
  3. Click OK to close the settings window.
  4. You will need to restart the Host for the changes to apply. Right-click on the Host icon and select Restart Host: Settings for Host - Restart Host
  1. On the remote computer, right click the Host icon in the system tray and select Settings for Host. Host menu
  2. In the settings window, click Settings for host and select Options: Settings for host - Options menu
  3. On the General tab, enable Show notification panel and click OK. Close the settings window. Host Options - General tab
  4. You will need to restart the Host for the changes to apply. Right-click on the Host icon and select Restart Host.
