I just installed RU Host on a Linux Mint machine.  Two hopefully quick questions:

1) There's no option to configure 2FA - is that feature Windows-only at present?

2) Whenever I move the mouse, type, or interact with the RU connection to the Mint machine, I get occasional screen tearing/jagging/flickering.  I installed the X11 feature that was called out during the RU installation.  Do I need to do anything else to stop the flickering?
Hello MP,

Thank you for your message.

There's no option to configure 2FA - is that feature Windows-only at present?

Yes, unfortunately, the 2FA feature is not available in the beta version for Mac/Linux yet. However, it should be available in the final release of the stable version along with the rest of the features.

Whenever I move the mouse, type, or interact with the RU connection to the Mint machine, I get occasional screen tearing/jagging/flickering. I installed the X11 feature that was called out during the RU installation. Do I need to do anything else to stop the flickering?

Could you please clarify if you mean the Nextgen codec? If this is the case, could you please make sure that both Host and Viewer are updated to the latest available version?
If you mean something else, please let us know.

Hope that helps.

Is there a binary/package for arm64 available please? (for Raspberry Pi)
Hello Mike,

Thank you for your message.

Unfortunately, currently there’s no installation package specifically for arm-based systems. However, we do plan adding support for ARM Mac/Linux OSs in our future releases.

Let us know if you have more questions.

Hello Michael,

Thank you for your message.

It seems the  libxcb-icccm  package is missing from your system’s repositories. Here are a few steps to try:

1.  Update Your System :
Try running the following commands to update your package list:

sudo apt update
sudo apt upgrade
2. Install an Alternative Package :
Try installing  libxcb-icccm4  or  libxcb-icccm4-dev  instead:
sudo apt install libxcb-icccm4 libxcb-icccm4-dev
3. Manual Installation :
If the package is still unavailable, you can try downloading it from Debian Packages and install it manually:
sudo dpkg -i <package_name>.deb
After completing these steps, try running r-agent again. If the issue persists, please let us know your exact OS version and any error details.

Looking forward to your reply.

I am running into "Dependency resolution failed" on attempting to install on a clean install of Debian 13.  I was able to install the  libxcb-icccm4-dev (the others weren't found), and am still receiving the same error.  Is there a way for me to get info on which dependencies are missing, like a command line install path?
