Hi Conrad,
Understood, thanks. I've just discovered that if the remote mac screen goes blank (sleep) RU does not wake it. I tested this from both Android and Windows.
Thanks,
Jim

I successfully installed and connected to the macOS host, but could not access extended monitors from Viewer on Windows, just the main one. Is this a current limitation of the Beta, or did I miss something?
Thanks for your continued efforts.

Going through some testing I've found that if the remote Linux machine is restarted or logged out it cannot be logged into remotely. RU connects, but the screen is blank and must be logged in locally before it can be accessed remotely. I wonder if it's related to Wayland, but that's a guess.

Conrad,
I just installed this on Zorin OS (Ubuntu Linux based). Install was flawless and my initial reaction is very positive. I'm looking forward to the arrival of its sister for Mac.

Conrad,
Nice update! Had to remember to switch from wayland to xorg but works great so far. Looking forward to future updates and arrival of the Host module.
Thanks,
Jim

Hi Pauline,
Just switched to xorg - didn't realize I was on Wayland - and all is well again...
Thanks! Looking forward to the Agent version when you're able to finalize it!

I'm wondering if there is any new on this as shown below...
Having recently upd ated my Linux box to Zorin 17, connecting still works, but the screen on the remote (Windows 11) machine is now just black. The connection is listed on the Linux machine and the mouse appears to be moving, though invisible, as different parts of the Linux screen highlight, indicating mouseover.

Hello Jim,
Thank you for your message.
Please double-check if you have the Blank the host's screen option enabled in the Connection properties -> Additional properties tab. Try disabling the option, and reconnecting to your remote machine.
Hope that helps.

There is no such option on the Linux host. When I se t it for that connection in the Windows viewer it does nothing, in fact after connecting to the Linux machine and checking back, it is no longer enabled. It's the remote screen that shows a blank, regardless of this setting.
I also discovered this same symptom occurs when I access Linux from my Android phone.

Pauline,
With apologies for multiple posts, I was successful in connecting through my wife's Windows 10 machine. Perhaps this is a Windows 11 issue... I'm at release 23H2 of Windows 11 Pro
Thanks
