Hello Allik,
You should try uninstalling the Remote Utilities monitor driver. Perhaps, it was installed on your Hosts. To uninstall it, right click on the Host icon, select Settings for Host -> Options -> Driver and click "Uninstall" right next to the monitor driver.
Here is a screenshot:
Let us know if this worked for you. Thanks.

Hello John,
The list that you mentioned is stored in the config_4.xml. So if you want to copy this list into another portable Viewer (or Viewer installation) you just need to copy this file in its appropriate destination.

Hi,
Unticking the "Generate..." check box in this step only makes sense if you are going to update existing Host installations. That is, if you want to update the server address (e.g. change it from public to a self-hosted one) without changing the Internet-ID codes already assigned to Hosts.
That might be the reason. You should tick the "Generate a new Internet-ID code" in order for the internet-ID to get generated at all. I assume that your msi file is used for a new Host installation, not for updating existing installations.thanks, yes there i untick generate new internet-code, and select SPECIFY custom INTERNET-ID server and set it to the RU-server.

Hello Espen,
Thank you for your message.
In order to troubleshoot Host -> Server connectivity please check this document https://www.remoteutilities.com/support/kb/cannot-connect-using-internet-id-connection/ .
Hope that helps.
Thank you for your message.
Provided that you enabled the auto-import option on the server (see how in this document), the Hosts should get automatically added to the designated folder. If they aren't, then perhaps they cannot even connect to the server in the first place. However, when deploying new hosts with a customized .msi file, none of the hosts are imported into the address book.
This might confirm what I said above. The Hosts cannot connect to the server for some reason. That's why they don't get imported into the address book - the server simply doesn't see them. Also, the 5 hosts i`ve installed it on, everyone says Offline/Unknown even though they are up and running, and i am able to remote them.

Hello John,
Thank you for your message.
I'm not sure I know the answer but I will forward your question to our development to clarify.

Just curious, why would you want this?I ask because I want to preserve this address book file list and checked/unchecked status when switching between versions of the viewer.

Viewer window size

Hi Ton,
Does the window size change each time you connect to different Hosts, or does it change even when you connect to the same Host?
For example, you connected to Host A and resized the window to your liking. Then you closed the session, reconnected to that Host again and opened the session window. Does the window keep its size or do you have to resize it again?
