Yellow Icon in Viewer
The yellow exclamation sign notifies the user that the respective remote Host version is outdated relative to the Viewer version. For example if Viewer is version 6.10.10 and a remote Host is 6.9 , the sign will be shown for the respective Host icon.
Note that the sign only shows if the Host version is outdated as compared with the Viewer's. So it isn't shown if you have the same outdated version on both ends. For instance, the current stable version is 6.10.10. If you have version 6.9 installed on both Viewer and Host end the sign won't be shown. In order to know for sure that you have an outdated version you should visit our website or just enable checking for updates in Viewer options.
Hope that helps.
Remote Utilities Host Crashing
Thank you for your message.
Am I right guessing that it's the Full Control and View mode that you run when the Host crashes? If so perhaps the reason might be outdated graphics card driver. I recommend that you update your GPU card driver.
Hope that helps.
Beta testing: Remote Utilities for macOS/Linux
Just tested beta 6 in both modes - light and dark (as on the screenshot) - and couldn't reproduce the issue. The connection works and remote desktop is shown.
Could you please elaborate on what specific connection type you use (Internet-ID vs. Direct connection) and any connection properties that you changed from their defaults?
Also, as far as I can see you can authenticate successfully on the remote computer and connection shows as "logged on", correct?

Hi. I am trying to download the latest Mac version from your website dated today, November 13, 2020, but I am getting a 404 error when I press the download button.
Sorry, there was a temporary issue with website server. Now it should download ok.
Thanks.
Is remote viewer still free for 10 users?
You can run it in a trial mode for 30 days if you need unlimited remote endpoints (e.g. for testing in a large corporate environment). In order to remove the trial and get a free license key just use this form https://www.remoteutilities.com/support/free.php
Hope that helps.
Strange graphics behaviour
Please, try enabling the "capture alpha blending windows" option in Connection properties (it's on the Additional properties tab) and see if it resolves the issue.
Beta testing: Remote Utilities for macOS/Linux
Yes, this feature will be included in the client for Mac/Linux in the final release. ETA is approximately a month or two from now, we are almost ready with version 7.

This is a classic technical support scam.100% my ignorant stupidity for believing he was a Microsoft Technician fixing a virus that locked up my laptop and I allowed acess.
Our Host log only details when the connection happened, what Internet-iD code was used and what connection modes were used. Unfortunately, there is no more granular information such was what files where moved/copied etc.ou need to be aware of what happened and all the info I screenshotted. I found the Remote Utilities folder on my hard drive with a log report etc. I'm not using that device any longer. How much can I learn from you and the remote session about WHO HE IS AND WHAT INFO HE CRIMINALLY STOLE FROM MY DEVICE?
As for who they were - our server log contains information about the originating IP address. When we are contacted by the police or any other authorized bodies we disclose this information to them according to our privacy policy (see "Government and law enforcement agencies" ).
You can use this email address privacy@remoteutilities.com and also give it to the police. We will be happy to provide any assistance with the investigation.I have reported it to the authorities at local and federal levels. I realize now how stupid I was, but the damage is beyond explainable. Can somebody PLEASE contact me through email?
Thanks!
MSI configurator behind proxy
Let me add to what Polina said. For MSI Configurator to work properly you just need to ensure that *.remoteutilities.com can be accessed by the program. As for proxy settings - in this case they are taken from the system, i.e. as they are specified in your Windows settings for proxy.
Hope that helps.
