Yes, unfortunately, you wouldn’t be able to hide the banner for the Host running on a Windows 7 machine.
Also, yes, the notification banner is not displayed for any commercial license (you can also enable it as well).

It looks like some of Remote Utilities files might’ve been somehow corrupted, which is now causing the issue. Could you please try fully uninstalling Remote Utilities following this guide and see if you’re able to reinstall Host from scratch.
In addition, please make sure that your Host installation folder is added to the a/v software exception list following this guide.

This issue might’ve occurred due to updating from version 6.8. Could you please try fully uninstalling your Host following this guide and then try re-installing the latest version of Host from scratch.
