Hello Dax,
Thank you for your message.
Could you please let us know what OSs are used on both local and remote machines? If possible, please also provide the build of each OS - we will try to reproduce the issue in our environment.
Looking forward to your reply.

RU id Server for Linux
Hello Barry,
Thank you for your message and apologies for the late reply.
For now we provide RU Server only for Windows-based systems. We do have plans to release RU Server for Linux in our future updates, but unfortunately, we can't provide any ETA on its release for now.
Regarding the beta testing - we will be sharing a test beta release, so that our users can try it out and provide their feedback for the final release of a stable version.
Thank you!

Active Directory Sync
Hello Patrick,
Apologies for a somewhat misleading previous reply. If you already have your AD integrations with RU Server set up and running, you do not need to manually add and refresh the Domain controller or connections.
Regarding the syncing issue - could you please make sure sure that you have a sync schedule set up and enabled as described here (it’s the very last section)?
Looking forward to your reply.

Hello Patrick,
Thank you for your message.
Just to clarify, does the AD Tree update if you manually click Refresh as shown in this guide?
Looking forward to your reply.

Hi Simon,
I’m glad to hear you were able to successfully connect to the RU Server! In addition, I will also forward the information regarding Debian 13 and the *deb package to our developers for a review.
Let us know if you have more questions.

Beta testing: Remote Utilities for macOS/Linux
Hi Simon,
Thank you for your message.
I’m glad to hear Host for Linux is working well for you. Thank you for the feedback.
Unfortunately, RU Server is only supported by Windows-based OSs as of now, however, we are working on making RU Server available on other platforms, such as Mac and Linux. Unfortunately, we cannot currently provide any specific ETA on when it might be available.
Let us know if you have more questions.

Could you please clarify what exact version of Remote Utilities you’re currently running and which version of Linux Mint you’re currently using? We will try and see if we’re able to reproduce the issue on our end.
Looking forward to your reply.
