Just to make sure, you’re trying to send a print job from a remote Host machine to your local Viewer computer, but nothing seems to be happening, is that correct? If this is the case, could you please try uninstalling the Remote Printing drive in the Host settings and see if reinstalling it might help to resolve the issue?

Could you please clarify if you mean enabling the Use legacy capture mode option on the Host machine remotely? If this is the case, you can try using the Remote Settings feature which allows you to change any of the Host settings from your Viewer computer.

Could you please try adding the entire C:\Program Files (x86)\Remote Utilities - Host\ folder to the exception list as described here and perform a clean installation once again.

There's no option to configure 2FA - is that feature Windows-only at present?

Yes, unfortunately, the 2FA feature is not available in the beta version for Mac/Linux yet. However, it should be available in the final release of the stable version along with the rest of the features.

Whenever I move the mouse, type, or interact with the RU connection to the Mint machine, I get occasional screen tearing/jagging/flickering. I installed the X11 feature that was called out during the RU installation. Do I need to do anything else to stop the flickering?

Could you please clarify if you mean the Nextgen codec? If this is the case, could you please make sure that both Host and Viewer are updated to the latest available version?

We still have the mobile Host for iOS/Android in our wishlist, however, right now our priority is releasing a stable version of Remote Utilities for Mac/Linux. Unfortunately, we can’t provide any specific ETA for the mobile Host.
