Hello,

Could you please try typing the following server in the "server" field: smtp-mail.outlook.com? You can see that it's listed on this page.
In addition, please double-check what TLS version is currently enabled on your computer as described here.

Let us know if this works for you.

Hello,

Thank you for your message.

Have you already tried using another port when setting up the SMTP server? For example, you can try using ports 465 or 25 and see if one of them might work.
In addition, if you have any antivirus software installed on this machine, it might be helpful to temporarily disable it.

Let us know if this works for you or if the issue persists.

[Resolved] Need old key/license for 6.x

Hello Salvatore,

Thank you for your message.

Please note that version 6 was discontinued for free license users, so even having the old license key for version 6, you will not be able to register Viewer of an older version with it. You need to update your installation to the most recent version 7.1.7.0 and register it with your license key as described here.

Hope that helps.

Hello Salvatore,

Thank you for your message.

Please note that the version 6 was discontinued for free license users - in order to use Remote Utilities with a free license, you need to update your installation to version 7. Here's a guide on how to update Remote Utilities (or you can also just re-install the latest version of the software).
After updating, you can register your Viewer as described here.

Hope that helps.

Hello Robert,

The issue might have affected all users connected via our public servers. We don't have connectivity restrictions or separate servers for commercial licenses. If this is a concern for you, we recommend that you try using self-hosted RU Server instead - it's also available for free license users.

Hope that helps.

Hello,

Thank you for your message.

Unfortunately, we can't provide any ETA on the release of RU Server for Linux yet. Currently one of our biggest priorities is Host/Agent for Mac/Linux systems (which we recently released an Alpha-version preview of Host for Linux), so even though we do have plans for RU Server for Linux, it will most likely become available only after Host/Agent for Mac/Linux.

Hope that helps.
