Thanks for the report. Did you try to wait for a few seconds for the remote screen to load?asql wrote:
hi Conrad,
have been just reported by Google Paly about the new release...Just installed on my device... On the test Win 7 pc I've downloaded and executed the new Agent.exe as well...
I can connect from the device, as I see it reported in the RMS - Active Connections pop up, and the Log in the device reports "Connection to XXX established", but on the device I do just get a black screen with the keyboard icon/widget...
any hint?
TIA

Hello Martin,
Thank you for the suggestion. We were going to reconsider this system anyway, and will certainly improve it. Perhaps we'll also implement your suggestion as well.

MSI Configuration

Hello Bobby,
Let me answer your questions.
1. You cannot manually generate the ID during MSI configuration because the output file is supposed to be used multiple times. Whereas the ID is a unique number/code.
So you either select the "Generate ID and send it via email" option, or get/generate the ID manually in the Host settings after the Host is installed.
2. If you are selecting the "Standard MSI" option, and launch the output file - the installation will look like a regular installation, with all installation wizard windows including the "set password" window. To silently install the program with all the settings you need use the "One-click" installer.
3. It has something to do with either firewall or spam filter in your inbox. Please ,check this KB article https://www.remoteutilities.com/support/kb/e-mail-is-not-sent-error/
Hope that helps.

Everything looks ok. Are you sure there are no other security software that might be blocking connection? Or maybe network device in-between the Viewer and Host (such as a router).droodle wrote:

Hello Les,
Glad to hear the issue is resolved. It's true that the mobile Viewer generally requires a bit more time to render the screen than the desktop one. :)
Thanks!

Hi Les,
It looks like the graphics card issue on the Host side. Try to upgrade your graphics card drivers, it may help.
Another question - do you only have issues with the mobile Viewer? Does the desktop Viewer work ok when you connect to that same remote PC?

Hello Les,
Did you upgrade mobile Viewer and/or the remote Host? I.e. is it after the upgrade that this behavior occurs?
If you upgraded remote Host to the latest version (6.0.0.4 as of Jan 13, 2015) I recommend you restarting the remote PC. Also, please check if you have the latest iOS client installed.
Hope that helps.
