Question1: Is this possible with the Free version and if so how many Licences does this use up. In this example we have it installed on 2 PC’s with three Operators.

You need only one license. Apply the product key on the two computers (Office 1 and Office 2) and connect to them from other computers where the Viewer is installed.

As an independent IT Support consultant with potentially my own Free Licence. If I connect to Mary’s PCs, is this using up one of her licences OR one of my free 10?

The license is applied on the Host, not on the Viewer. Once you register the Host, you can connect to it from any number of Viewers. Your address book in the Viewer can hold no more than 10 remote PCs registered with a Free License (regardless of who owns the license). These are protective measures to ensure the EULA is not violated. Another measure is that you cannot own and store in the License Key Storage more than one Free License and use the Free License alongside a paid license, because the paid license is supposed to entirely replace the free one. this will probably only be relevant when using domain/nt security but it saves me from having to enter credentials twice and for security reasons all servers/workstations are set to auto log off after a period of time. so every time I connect the server or pc will be locked the feature [censored] has comes in quite handy.

First, sorry for the "censored" thing but we don't allow competitor names on the forum. But I understand what you mean.

I've added the feature into our wish/feature tracking list. This means that it has a good chance to be implemented in one of the upcoming versions.

Hello Jeff,

To send Ctrl+Alt+Del to the remote PC, please use the corresponding command button/icon on the toolbar in the Full Control mode

Couple of questions:

1. Could you please verify that the mobile Viewer version number is 5.6.0.2. It's displayed at the top right corner of the main screen. Note that the mobile version numbers are not directly related to desktop version numbers. The number above represents the latest iOS version.

2.  When you attempt connection, is the Viewer "thinking" for a while before showing you the "Host not found" message? Or does that message pops up immediately when you click "Connect", without a pause?

Hello Scott,

It looks like a firewall/antivirus issue. First, check the Host side and I recommend doing that with the Internet ID. Make sure that you can see a blue sphere/circle beside the Host icon. It means that the Host successfully connected to a mediation server.

Then type the Internet ID into the mobile Viewer exactly (i.e. it's case-sensitive) as it is shown in the Host and try to connect. If it doesn't connect, then the problem is on the Viewer side. Is there any mobile firewall/antivirus or other security software on your phone that might affect connectivity?

Hm. Perhaps it's just hard to say from here what exactly is the problem until we see that with our own eyes. Are you available for a support session? We could connect to your Viewer PC (just install the Host on it) and then try to diagnose the issue by trying to connect from your Viewer to the Windows 8.1 Host.

I just noticed 5.6.0.5 was released this version seems to have fixed this issue
