Please, try uninstalling the Host completely, then install the Host and see if the issue still there. Don't touch ESET for now, let's just see if it caused by corrupted installation or else.

Regarding all those BitDefender issues and issues with other a/v software - we'll do our best to get rid of them as quickly as possible by submitting false positive reports.
The final 6.5 release is upcoming in a couple of days.
This can happen if you still move (or accidentally move) your cursor. So long as you do no move it the remote side can move their cursor without the snapping effect.
By the way, starting 6.5 beta we updated the installation wizard. Now during installation the Viewer asks whether you want to install the trial version or generate and apply a free license right away.
