Host/Agent for Linux (alpha preview)
Hello Oldřich and Jim,
Thank you both for the provided feedback.
Of course, we will definitely aim for the final stable release to have the standard features that are currently available in Host for Windows. I will forward the notes about the touchpad scrolling and will check with them on the manual restart of Host after the system reboot as well. We appreciate your input.
Let us know if you have any questions.

[Resolved] Host LAN & ID
Hello,
Thank you for your message.
You can enable Internet-ID connection along with Direct connection on your Hosts at the same time and also set up multiple authentication methods, so if one of the authentication methods is not available, the software will automatically proceed with the next one. You can see an example of the auth methods order on this page (see the text in the yellow frame).
Hope that helps.

Agent doesn't require installation, so it's not possible to push-install it via GPO, but you can configure a custom Agent file and distribute it over the computers in your network, so it's readily available to just launch it on demand. Is it possible to enroll the Agent like the Host via GPO etc.?
Hope that helps.
[Resolved] Viewer Options and Key
Hello,
Thank you for your message.
Do you mean that you want to remotely install Viewer across your systems via GPO? Unfortunately, the Push install via GPO is currently only available for Host since we don't provide an .msi installation files for Viewer.
However, you can copy the Viewer's settings file config_4.xml in the folder C:\Users\YOUR_USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Remote Utilities Files\ after setting up one Viewer manually and then just copy this file across your other Viewers - this should copy over any settings as well as the license key. If you want to copy the general address book as well, please try copying over the file connections_4.xml the same way.
Hope that helps.

Host/Agent for Linux (alpha preview)
Hello Oldřich,
Thank you for your message.
Please note that since this is an Alpha-version release for preview purposes, some of the default features supported by Host for Windows might not be available yet. The advanced mouse scroll feature will definitely be available in the subsequent releases of Host/Agent for Linux.
Let us know if you have more questions.

Hello Flavio,
Thank you for your message.
This issue seems like it might be caused by an external factor, such as internet connection or firewall settings.
Could you please send us the following log files:
1. The most recent Host log file.
2. RU Server logs.
3. Viewer logs.
We will examine the log files to see if there’s anything that might help in identifying the issue. You can send all logs to support@remoteutilities.
Looking forward to your reply.
