Now you don't need a bundled purchase. Simply select which pricing model is better in your situation (here's the calculator https://www.remoteutilities.com/buy/). The functionality of the product is the same in both models, only the charging method is different.

Hello,
Thanks for your question and sorry for being a bit with an answer. Did you try to reboot the remote PC?
Let us know how it goes. Thanks.

Yes. We have only one trial version. It's downloadable from here.nikkil wrote:
Thanks. Is there also a trial version for this?
You can then either:
- Apply a Free License code, in which case some features get disabled but you will be eligible to use the software forever for personal use
- Buy and apply a commercial key. You will have a fully functional program that you can use for business purposes.
- Continue using the trial until a 30 day trial period is over. At the end of this period the program will ask you for a valid license key (either Free or Commercial).
Hope that helps.

Yes. In this case you must know the administrator password on the remote machine, and the password must not be empty.nikkil wrote:
Thanks. But what if it is not under the same domain but on the same subnet or local LAN, would this still be possible?
Also, if it's an XP remote machine, you should disable 'Simple file sharing' feature. If it's a Win 7 remote machine, the UAC (User Access Control) for network connections must be disabled.

Hi Nikkil,
Not exactly. :) The Pro (or rather Commercial license, as we call it) is good for as many PCs as you purchase the license for.
If you purchase the license on a "per remote PC" basis for, say, 100 remote machines, then you can install and register the Host on 100 remote machines.
If you would rather prefer to pay on a "per operator" basis, then you need to pay only for the number of admin machines (Viewer machines) that will be working simultaneously. The number of remote installations will be unlimited.
Here's our license calculator. Play with it and you will see what I mean.
Thanks!

Hi Michael,
We'll see what we can do. Thanks for the suggestion.

Right now the Host can automatically "call back" the Viewer by its IP address or DNS name, if you set up a call back connection (see Callback connection). Is that what you mean or do you mean something else?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Hello Michael,
We are planning to add a fully-fledged address book sync (and also a web account too) in one of the next releases. As for rights management for address book records - that's also a good idea. We'll see what we can do in this respect.

UPDATE: We have simplified our licensing even more. Now if you purchase a commercial license you only need to choose a preferred pricing model: per operator or per remote PC. Program functionality is the same for both pricing models (i.e. full functionality of Remote Utilities).
