I discovered today that the number keypad on my Windows machine's wireless keyboard is not recognized on the Linux remote host.

Thanks!

Hello,
I don't know if it is completely related to Host/Agent for Linux (alpha preview), but when connecting remotely, vertical commas are inserted in the menu of letters on the remote desktop when writing text... see. attached image

Thanks
Have a nice day

Hi Oldřich

Is this also happening when you switch the screen view to the stretch mode?

Hello,
it happens in both modes - normal view and stretch view. There is one more interesting thing. When I press enter while writing text and the cursor jumps to the next line, the vertical dashes between the letters disappear. Or when I write text, there are vertical dashes between the letters and just move the cursor outside the window of the written text, the dashes disappear immediately.

Hello Oldřich,

Could you please also clarify if this issue occurs when typing the text only in some specific software or anywhere in general? In addition, please let us know what version of Linux OS you're using.

Looking forward to your reply.

The problem when writing text on a remote computer (as I described earlier) occurs at any time - it is not just a specific text editor, but when writing any text. But now I noticed that when writing text, vertical lines are inserted between letters, but at the same time there is some refresh of the remote image (I don't know what causes this refresh of the image) and the displayed text is gradually cleaned fr om the inserted vertical lines and is displayed normally. For example, as soon as I finish writing a sentence, I end the sentence with a period. Within a few seconds, the text is displayed correctly and normally.
This "strange" behavior is rather annoying, it enables work on a remote machine, only the text writing is a bit confusing.
I made a video of what it looks like when writing text remotely. Since I could not insert the video as an attachment, I am sending you a link from wh ere you can download the video.

Hello Oldřich,

Thank you for the provided details.

I will forward this issue along with the video to our development department to see if we're able to reproduce it and implement a fix for it in our future updates.

I'll let you know if there are any updates on this.

Hello Oldřich,

Thank you for your patience.

Our developers had found a minor bug in Viewer for Mac/Linux and have already implemented a fix for it which will be available in the next update.

Let us know if you have more questions.

Hello,
I wanted to ask if you have at least an approximate idea of when the Host/Agent for linux might be released.
Thank you for answer
