Tailscale will it work with it

Has anyone been able to use Taiscale with remote utilites ? I know it works with rustdesk by using the DIRECT IP option but what about remote utiltes does it have a Direct ip option?
Hello John,

Thank you for your message.

Remote Utilities does offer direct access to the remote Host machine via Direct connection using Host's IP address. For more information on how to set up Direct connection please see this page.

Let us know if you have more questions.
That was easier than I thought you don’t have to be on the same subnet because tailscale places all those devices in your tail making them easy access and secure from one to another ,, Just tried it and works Great ! thanks even better since the traffic does not go thru your servers...Thank You!

By the way the computer icons in remote utilites will look greyed out whenusing tailscale but they are still working if you try to connect. Because remote utiles does not see the private traffic..If you try it ..

Hello Johnran,

You might want to try enabling checking online status for direct connections and see if it helps. This option is in connection properties.

Thank you fo ryour help works great with tailscale and takes the burdon off your servers I m sure Plus makes it extremley secure from endpoint to endpoint..! thanks
Hi John,

It took a bit longer because this feature only sends keep-alive requests about once a minute. It was designed this way to avoid clogging the network in environments with hundreds of thousands of PCs.

Thanks.
