Hi Keith,
Yes, Windows NT - we already do our best to support XP systems, and that’s about as far back in time as we can comfortably travel :) Thanks for the update, glad you tracked it down.
Have a great weekend ahead!

Hi Pauline,
Viewer update runs but does not update on XP computer (version does not change).
Host update will not run and Host no longer works since first attempt. (Remote Utilities on two Win11 computers reports that XP computer is offline.)
Remote Utilities Host folder on XP computer contained nothing but Log folder (no current events) following update attempts.
Since my old viewer will not update but is still working (albeit clunkily) I was able to transfer host files, but only one at a time, from a Win11 computer to the Host folder on the XP computer (per your previous suggestion to another user).
But now what? I tried running each of the two transferred .exe files on the XP computer.
One is for an Agent, which I did not complete.
The other (rfusclient.exe) will not run.
There is no Start Host option.
Host is still not running, despite numerous update attempts and numerous computer restarts.
I have not tried uninstall and reinstall as I am afraid of losing what connectivity I still have to this XP computer.

Hello Joseph,
Thank you for your message.
We’ve already been able to identify the bug related to Windows XP and will be including a fix for it in our next update. So in this case, we’d recommend to just wait until the update is available, if that’s possible. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Let us know if you have any questions.
