A connection disappeared from PC + Laptop can no longer connect to PC

Two problems happened at exactly the same time on my PC

1) Out of the blue, my PC lost a connection to view my Partner's PC.
I was able to add that back in, but it was strange how that happened.

At the same time, my Laptop could no longer connect to my PC.
I tried resetting the password, and also made sure the ID was correct.
I even tried deleting the connection from my Laptop to my PC, and then add it back in, but it won't connect. I then tried to add a connection from my Partner's PC to my PC, and that wouldn't ever connect either.

The thing both problems have in common is that they are issues related just to my PC - not my Partner's PC or my Laptop.

I didn't want to uninstall and re-install RU on my PC, because then I would have to add all my connections back in, and also re-set the connection from the Laptop and Partner's PC to my PC.

Thank you for your message.

It looks like your Host installation files might’ve been somehow damaged/corrupted. Our suggestion here is to have your Host fully uninstalled following this guide and then have it reinstalled from scratch.
In addition, we suggest that you also add your Host installation folder to the exception list of your antivirus software following this guide.
