At some point, I lost the picture that should be shown on the Remote Viewer icon on my Windows desktop; what I get looks like the one for Notepad.  If I select Properties and "Change Icon", I get a message that a file can't be found :

I can't find anything in my "C:\Program Files (x86)\Remote Utilities - Viewer\" folder that look appropriate.  What should it be?

Apparently the picture of the error didn't properly attach or display.  Anyway the file in question is in "%SystemRoot% and has a filename about 50 characters or so in length and starts with "RManViewer.exe1_42B36C.............."

Problem solved.  I was able to extract an image from rutview.exe and create a .ico file and then use that.

Hello Mark,

Thank you for your message.

I'm glad to hear you've already figured out the issue! Issues like this one might occur due to activity of some antivirus software (including Windows Defender), so if you haven't done so already, we'd recommend that you add Remote Utilities to the exception list of any a/v software you might have on your computer in order to avoid similar issues in the future. You can find more detailed guide on how to do so on this page.

Hope that helps.
