Application (proton VPN) launches but does not display

When I connect to my remote computer, I am trying to launch my Proton VPN application. I double click on it and it shows it launches on the task bar, and I can see the process running on the task manager but nothing displays on the screen. I have tried to move the app to make sure it was not off screen, but when I hover over the app it displays a box but no application to view. I have tried https://www.remoteutilities.com/support/kb/some-windows-or-menus-are-not-visible/ with no success. I am running full control and using 7.0.2.0 as the host. Any help would be appreciated. I can launch other apps just fine (chrome, my computer, word...) and they all display.

Update, I had to disable the video driver I was using and use a generic one with Microsoft and it worked.

Just curious, which video driver was causing the problem?
