I have a remote computer I am trying to print from. When I first installed the viewer and tested the printer it worked. Now when I go to print, I don't get the pop up window after the first initial Print window. So, I am unable to print. Any suggestions?
Thank you for your reply. I tried this as well and no go. I also uninstalled the program, re-installed it. Further, when I run Viewer from my computer to that specific host, I am able to print. But not from the laptop I am attempting to use. And as I stated before, it DID print just once, then won't do so again. The remote utility printer is an option, but the second window that appears after you hit print, never comes up.
Could you please clarify what version of Remote Utilities do you use? In case if you use version 220.127.116.11 or an older version, then before we can proceed to further troubleshooting, please try updating Remote Utilities to the latest version available - as of this writing, it's 18.104.22.168 (Beta 2). The issue you're encountering might have already been resolved in this latest release, so it's better to try updating your Remote Utilities installation first to see if this helps to eliminate the issue.
Version 22.214.171.124 (Beta 2) is available for the download on this page. When updating Remote Utilities, please make sure to update both Viewer and Host/Agent (as well as the RU Server if used) to the same version as the version mismatch might lead to performance issues or some features not working.
Please let us know if the issue persists even after updating to the 126.96.36.199 version.
