On many occasions, I have had my clients download the signed agent I created only to find that windows blocked the install.. I have to install it through an administrator CMD prompt....... ????

OK, I figured this out..... I am running the RUT server on Server 2008R2. It seems as though once I stop and restart the services on the RUT server, I can then, click on any host in the viewer. If the Rut server sits dormant for any amount of time, I have to go back and restart the service on the server before it will allow me to remote in to a host.

After upgrading viewer to 7.1.1.0 and 3.2 server, I can't connect to existing hosts in address book

Please, read this if your license key doesn't work after upgrade

It is a shame that Remote Utilities loyal and original pro licensees, if I understood this correctly, will have to upgrade and purchase this for version 7 viewer on a regular basis. We have been waiting for Linux and MAC host software for a couple of years as well.... What gives? Did I assume incorrectly?

I created a new windows server on AWS and installed the rut server software and I created a new host install package to reflect the server name instead of the DNS. What is the best way to retain the address book structure so that when imported to the new server, the remote hosts will see and reconcile the settings on the new server?

When trying to do either a "Remote Install" or the client downloads and runs the exe file from my website some of the anti-virus software picks it up as a possible threat and wants the customer to either quarantine it or allow it. Is there something you all can do or contact the anti-virus companies so that they can add the signature exemption into their definition file updates?
