File Transfer - Blank Screen

I recently started getting a blank screen anytime I try and use file transfer.  
To be more specific.  I can do remote control.  no problem.
If I activate file transfer, and hover (win10) over the RU program tray icon, I see the RU control screen (in small) and a another screen for the file transfer function (in small) showing nothing.  If I click on that window nothing happens.
As far as I can tell, both host and remote are current:
Remote:  7.6.2.0
Host:  7.6.2.0

Could you please try enabling the Use legacy capture mode option located in the Host Settings -> Other tab and see if this might help to resolve the issue. Please also make sure to restart your Host after enabling the feature.

Unfortunately, no... that did not work.  Same as before.
