RU Viewer: Version 7.1.7.0
Windows 10 22H2
When using configurator to create Host EXE (One-Click) or  Host MSI  (for AD), if I use the Pre-configure Security settings AND the Internet-ID settings, the Single password option is greyed out and already shows a tick.

I have tried on different machines - some with no RU settings prior to using the Viewer - and I get the same result.

This is makes it impossible to roll out the host as we did with Version 6.10.

Any help/fixes much appreciated.

Hello Rob,

Thank you for your message.

Actually, this is expected behavior. Notice the 'Automatically generate Host password' checkbox selected on the second screenshot. If it's selected, you instruct the program to generate the password for you (i.e. it will be unique for each instance of a Host installed) rather than let you set it manually.

That is, if you want to set the same single password for all instances of your installed Hosts, you should deselect that checkbox and this will unlock the single password authentication option in the configuration settings.

Hope that helps.

Thank you Conrad.
Perfect answer and very obvious when you spelled it out!

Worked perfectly.
