Any way to wake a computer when I'm on not the same LAN?
Support level: Free or trial
Hi, I have to do remote work on a users computer and he consistently puts the computer to sleep before leaving for the day and I have no way to wake it back up so I can work on it. I'm at home using remote utilities so I'm not on the work network. Is there a way to wake it up or would I need to VPN into the work network first? Thanks!
Occasional issues connecting to a computer over the internet

Nevermind, apparently the laptop was on but the lid was closed. I don't know how or why that would affect anything but when the lid was opened I was able to log in and actually control the computer. I'm assuming the other computers this happens to are in a similar state.
Occasional issues connecting to a computer over the internet

Hello, sometimes but not with all, I have a problem connecting to a computer. So what happens is I right click and select full control, then a window pops up saying "connecting to ..." with the binary earth map thing. Then several minutes go by and I am still waiting. If I go back to the main viewer window that shows all the PCs I can connect to, I see that there is a thumbnail image of the computer showing the desktop I'm trying to connect to and it says "logged on". However I still am waiting at that connection screen. Closing and retrying it doesn't help. My viewer is 7.0.2.0 and the host is on the latest as I have just updated it. What could be the cause? Many computers in this building that are using the same network I have no issues connecting to.

Loving the program, just wondering about the security of an internet ID.
I know that you need a pin / password set up for the internet ID to work, but how likely is it that random hackers out there can guess what my internet ID is?
Is there a way to know if someone has guessed the internet ID and tried logging in but had the wrong pin / password?
