RUT - Viewer: Licence keys and connection settings encrypted and protected with a password

Hi Genie,

Actually, I hope by the mid-2012 you won't need the portable version anymore, as we plan something more interesting. :) But don't tell that to my superiors, as they will whip me many times  :D

[Implemented in v.5.4] Print locally a remote document

Hi Genie,

That will take some effort but we'll try all we can so that this feature is available in the version 5.2. I agree with you that it's very handy to print something out from the remote PC to the local printer once in a while.

Video recording of the remote session

Most likely will go for the version 5.2 or 5.3.

Sync tool in the File Transfer mode

Hi Genie

This is a bit tricky given that Dropbox or Box.net already exist that do the sync task perfectly. The File Transfer mode was primarily intended for occasional file transfers, not as a full-fledged sync tool, as this is much better done by specialized software or cloud services. But we'll see what we can do.

[Implemented in v5.2] User rights management

This will go for the version 5.2.

Vocal chat [implemented in v5.1]

Implemented. See the new Voice & Video chat connection mode in the program.

[Implemented in v.5.4] Print locally a remote document

Hi Genie,

This will probably go for the version 5.2 or maybe 5.3.

RUT - Viewer: Licence keys and connection settings encrypted and protected with a password

Update on this issue: The License Key Storage and the program's Enter license key dialog are now much safer. It's impossible to copy/steal the license key directly neither from the License Key Storage, nor from the Enter license key dialog.

[Implemented in v5.1] A tiny enhancement

Fixed. Now it says "Remote Utilities - Usoris Systems - Viewer"

Do the same thing simultaneously on several remote computers

Hi,

So far, in version 5.1 we implemented mass connection properties editing.

In order to mass edit connections, select them by dragging the mouse pointer around them or using <Ctrl> or <Shift> + click, and then right click and select Properties just as you do when edit a single connection.
