I have a remote PC that runs a SQL database. When I click on an item to edit it, I cannot see the dialog it opens from the Viewer. If I do this at the remote PC I can see this dialog. Oddly, I can see the dialog windows open on the thumbnail for the Viewer session, but not from within the Viewer control session.

The host is a Windows 7 Pro PC, the Viewer is a Windows 10 PC. Both are new installs and use version 7.1.2 on the client.

Any idea why I can't see the Edit window?

Thank you for your message.

This issue is most likely caused by some factors specific to the Windows 7 OS. Could you please try enabling the Capture alpha-blending windows feature as described in this guide and see if this helps to resolve the issue?
