BUSINESS license, new PLUS price, free upgrade offer

Links used in this discussion
We have added a new license tier and changed the PLUS price, to balance our license and price ladders: the step from PLUS to PRO was too wide, both in device limits and in price.

BUSINESS sits between PLUS and PRO: the same features, up to 100 controlled devices, $299 per concurrent user with volume discounts. A BUSINESS key needs Viewer 7.9.0.0 or later (2.1.1 on macOS and Linux) and RU Server 3.5.6.0 or later.

PLUS now costs $199 per concurrent user instead of $249. The license itself is unchanged: up to 50 controlled devices.

Free upgrade to BUSINESS for recent PLUS buyers

If you bought a PLUS license, or upgraded to PLUS, between November 3, 2025 and November 3, 2026, you can exchange it for a BUSINESS license free of charge, with the same number of users. The offer runs until November 3, 2027.

How to claim it: open the upgrade form at https://www.remoteutilities.com/buy/upgrade-form.php, enter your PLUS key, and the form will offer the exchange. Click Next, then Upgrade key, and your BUSINESS key is generated on the spot and emailed to you. Your PLUS key is retired at that moment, so register your Viewers with the new key.

Before you claim it, think about your future upgrades. The exchange is free, but every later upgrade is priced from BUSINESS, and a BUSINESS seat costs more than a PLUS seat. If 50 controlled devices are enough for you and you plan to add users later, staying on PLUS may be the cheaper choice. The upgrade form shows both options side by side, and nothing happens until you click Upgrade key.

Hi Conrad,
Just so I can plan in advance, do you have a best estimate as to when the next Major Version will be made available?
Hi Benny,

Our current estimate for the next major version is spring 2027. It's an estimate, not a fixed date, so it may move.
