Hi.
I am new to Remote Utilities and am just getting it set up.
My home laptop is Windows 7 (64bit) and I am trying to connect to my work laptop (windows 8.1 (64bit) but if I have 'blank the host's screen' option set, it appears to lock the laptop and I cannot do anything more.
Is this a bug or have I messed up somewhere? As far as I know, I have the latest versions installed on both devices.
Many Thanks
Darren

Hello Darren,
Thank you for your message.
Please, try the following: right -click on the Host icon, select Settings for Host -> Options and enable the Use legacy capture mode option. Then restart the Host - you can do so via Host's menu - and see if the issue is resolved.
Hope that helps.

Hi.
Thank you for this. My initial testing appears to be a lot better. I will continue to test this later in the week but thank you.
