The MSI Configurator servers should be working ok. Here's the current test result:

Please, check your network connection and especially if there is any firewall or perimeter firewall/security software that might be blocking connection to remoteutilities.com.
Support level: Starter
MSI configuration server is working now.

The problem is resolved but my curiosity remains.  I can confirm no firewall rules blocked outbound.

Could you tell me if your config server had 100% uptime today? If yes, then I will want to dig into our log files to figure out what happened.

There wasn't any dowtime.

Yet, it isn't necessarily the server. With networks, other factors can interrupt a connection at any given moment: security software activity (not only on your computer but also at the network perimeter, e.g. your ISP), global or regional outages, or simply a temporary glitch on one of the devices involved (computers, routers).
