1 more thing to add.

I Move this client/host to attach to another server.
using the same viewer it connects with no problems.
server with issues is on same LAN.   while the server that works is over a vpn ver. 2.7.9.0.

I downloaded and installed it last night so Version 2.7.9.0, April 16, 2019.   based on what the website says.

I'm having this issue with self hosted server.
the server is dual homed. (Two nics for access to second network) AKA Jump box.
as I have pc's on an isolated network for security reasons.
I emailed my logs in.
everything seems to connect to the server but the viewer is not connecting through the server to the hosts.
even with firewalls disabled.

so the major complication with that.  is  synchronization of users/passwords and permissions.
