Yes, you can visit the documentation here. There's "Connection modes" section.

Viewer shortcut -> Properties -> Shortcut tab -> Run: Minimized.

There must be a button "Update driver". If you are connected to the Internet Windows will automatically check for driver updates.

You can also refer to Windows Help file for more information on updating drivers.

Starting version 5.4 RDP works via Interent ID. Here's the related blog post.
