Hello,

i'm using RU for several years now and im still satisfied :)
I just have a single wish, add another cloumn to the viewer where a timestamp is saved when the selected machine was online last time. Like in this modified screenshot : - 31 May 2024 08:49:40
The timestamp should update itself regularly when the connection state of a client machine has changed.

Is this possible ?

Roadmap?

Hi @ all,

i am using RU for 1 year now and it's a great alternative to the other marketleaders. I would like to know, about your roadmap. What are the next features which will be implemented into further releases? There are no updates since 08/2017 and the viewer is not completlely bugfree, so please tell us about your future plans :)

Greetings

Hi Conrad,

i cannot confirm this, because on other Windows 2k12 R2 Servers, the installation went like expected and without the need of a restart.

Hi Conrad,

it's a fresh installation on a Windows Server 2012 R2...

Edit: And even if i stop the service, run the exe and change the settings - after closing the exe and starting the service, there is no connection to my ID-Server. I have to stop the service and run the exe again (and let it opened) in order to see the machine online and connect to it. If i'm closing th exe and starting the service, the machine appears as offline.

Edit2:

You can simply run Settings for Host from the Windows Start menu.

On this installation, there is no start menu entry.

Hello,

i'm using the latest version of RU with a self hosted ID-Server.
I've created a customized msi-package and i am able to install it as expected.
But sometimes, the installation ends a little bit strange. At the stage of entereing the password of the viewer (which was already included in the package), the window closes and that's it. If im checking the services, i can see "Usoris Host" is running. But my ID-Server doesn't see any new devices. Ok, i stopped the service and ran the exe by hand to check its settings. All settings are reverted to default - this means, standard ID-Server is used, no saved passwords etc...

Will this be fixed in the next release ? My  [censored] license expires on 03/27/17 so i need an alternative which is working on mass deployment without checking each installation.

Hi Conrad,

yes i know, we are talking about the WAN-IP. But there are some other entries (which are not shown in the picture) which are displaying the right client (wan) IP. So that's the reason i am a bit confused...

PS: And they are using all the same ID-Server...

After starting the portable viewer (6508), i see my list of available computers. I'll pick one of them and it's shown as "online" - everything normal until here. Just after clicking on a computer (to open the remote control), it's shown as "offline" for about 5 secs. The connection will be established and i am able to see the host screen and do normal operations. Is that normal? Sometimes it delays for more than 5 secs...

And how about a feature like "Last seen", where it will store the last time when the computer was online ?

As you can see in the picture, all clients are displayed with the same IP. This IP is not assigned to a single client, it belongs to the ID-Server (self hosted).

The clients are running Win7 Pro / Windows Server 2012 R2 with the latest host-version 6.5.0.8. The viewer is running under Win 10 Pro using the portable version 6.5.0.8.

The ID-Server's firewall is configured to open ports 5655 & 5670 TCP.

I am going to test this new version asap if it's released.
