I am not sure if I rebooted after I installed it, however I used it successfully that same night and it worked fine. the pc never sleeps as its a business workstation, when I went to connect tonight is when I saw the problem... as I said after connecting using an alternative Remote tool and rebooting the pc it now seems to be working again... I will update this post if it continues to happen.. I NEVER had this problem with the older version..
it is working perfectly for me on my home systems though (no internet ID) perhaps its has something to do with the internet ID/server?
thank you.

I just installed the new version on a remote pc using internet ID (this is a domain joined pc that uses NT authentication and its a fresh clean brand new PC). everything seemed to be working fine. the first time I accessed the pc everything was working, however a few days later I tried to access it and I could, however I could not send a ctrl alt del to the system, so i could not unlock/login to the PC I had to use [censored] to access pc, first I tried stopping/starting the RUT host. that didn't work so I then rebooted the pc, after a reboot I was able to connect and was able to send ctrl alt delete. if this happens every couple of days im back at square 1. thankfully I had installed [censored] as well, I simply cant trust Remote utilities until these crazy bugs are a thing of the past...
Thank you
Thank you

just wanted to let you know version 6.1 seems to have resolved all of the issues I have encountered with previous versions
I no longer need to check "use legacy capture mode" on a windows 10 host
using wake on LAN on windows 7 PC does not popup error message
when I wake a pc via wake on LAN I can actually connect to it without issue (consistently)
the viewer no longer freezes from time to time when performing various tasks.
it seems to be pretty stable and works the way it should. at least for my usage scenario.
I have not tested it for very long but so far it seems to work perfectly, hopefully I don't see any of the previous or new bugs as I continue using/testing it.
thank you for the new release.

I agree, the more I used it the more issues I encountered. I don't think this version was ready for release.Larry Gray wrote:

I like remote utilities and would love to use it again, the 5.x version worked perfect on windows 7, but had issues on windows 8.x and windows 10.
at this point I need to use [censored] as well
hopefully they release a new version soon that fixes the many issues that exist.

it would be great if you came out with a version of GMS that could be installed on a NAS device, such as a qnap NAS and sinology. I myself own multiple NAS's as do most of my customers.
any chance this could be developed?
Thank you

Hi Conrad,
No problem with the censored, I understand completely. I should have realized this. I apologize.
I appreciate your consideration regarding the feature request.
Thank you

im not sure if your familiar with [censored] but there is a feature that [censored] has. when I login to a remote pc it requests username/password,domain etc. just like remote utilities, however if the pc or server is locked or not logged in when I click on the send control alt delete [censored] pops up an option to login using the credentials already supplied. is it possible to have a similar/same feature in remote utilities
this will probably only be relevant when using domain/nt security but it saves me from having to enter credentials twice and for security reasons all servers/workstations are set to auto log off after a period of time. so every time I connect the server or pc will be locked the feature [censored] has comes in quite handy.
thank you for your consideration

I noticed you changed licensing so I decided to try it on my work PC, I selected nt authentication
when I launch my work pc (this is using internet id) it prompts for username, password and domain, I input all proper credentials and it works. if I close the remote session and logoff and then attempt to connect/logon again the username and domain is prefilled. username is saved in the username field and domain is saved in the domain field all is good thus far. however if I logoff and then close out of the viewer then open the viewer up again and then try to connect/login to my work pc the username field is filled in with the domain name and the domain field is filled in with the username. (fields are reversed) this happens every time and easily reproducible.
this is with the latest version 5.6.0.5
thank you

I just noticed when I need to type a capital letter I usually use shift key but its not working, also if I need to type a sybol I would type shift+4 for $ but it doesn't seem to work on any of my host computer when using the viewer
I just noticed 5.6.0.5 was released this version seems to have fixed this issue
thank you
