Remote Utilities Host not starting up in Linux mint

Hi
I have installed Remote Utilities Host on a Linux Mint operating system. It installed successfully, but it will not load up. Has anyone had this issue and is there a fix for it?

Thank you for your message.

Could you please let us know what exact version of Linux Mint you’re currently using? In addition, please let us know if anything at all is happening when you’re trying to start Host, for example, if you’re getting any error messages?

  Desktop: Cinnamon v: 6.6.9 tk: GTK v: 3.24.41 wm: Muffin v: 6.6.3 vt: 7 dm: LightDM v: 1.30.0
    Distro: Linux Mint 22.3 Zena base: Ubuntu 24.04 noble
When I click onto "Settings for Host or Start Host" nothing happens at all

Thank you for the follow up.

I will forward the issue to our developers to see if there’s some sort of fix for this in our upcoming updates or if we can suggest a workaround/solution for the issue.

I’ll get back to you with an update on this shortly.

hello! same here, tech license trying to get out of windows on my laptop ,
remote utilities won't start on mint latest version/update - it would be nice to get a proper working viewer to be able to remove windows out of my daily carry ! thanks!
