Just wanted to post if this may help someone. I am using Windows 10 home edition 22H2 on my host and Windows 10 Pro 21H2 on the viewer. I am using version 7.1.7.0 of Remote Utilities for the host and viewer.
The issue I was having is distorted / garbled audio when using Sound Capture.
I am using a Realtek audio device (Lenovo laptop). Default - Realtek driver 6.0.9088.1 and it was 'terrible'. The audio was just bad and all sorts of issues.
I updated the driver with Microsoft Driver 10.0.19041.264 dated 5/9/2020 and it works perfectly. I am using 16 bit 48000 Hz (DVD Quality) as that is the only option it will allow me to use. I have disable all enhancements turned on.
