einouterror file access denied - RESOLVED

This all started when we couldn't connect to the host computer that was running the 'host' software - would timeout.
So, I figured we'd update to the latest version of the host software but the installation would get stuck on 'pending' and eventually would pop up the "einouterror - file access denied" message. I figured it was a file permissions issue somewhere. I tried to remove the RUT host software via control panel and then manually using the instructions on this site - and reinstall, but that didn't help.
What turned out to be the issue was the folder c:\ProgramData\Remote Utilities\, and I'm assuming the installation program could not access that folder (or something inside) for some reason. I renamed the folder to "Remote Utilities-OLD" and ran the installation again and it installed without issues. This did end up assigning a new Internet ID.
I'm hoping others may be helped if they get this error.
