In the meantime I paid for a starter solutions and the notice doesn't appear any more.
The reason why the free solution wasn't acceptable any more was indeed because the notice was glued to the host screen and stayed there forever. It couldn't be removed, not even by the host and not even when there wasn't a connection with RU any more or when working in another program. It was there to stay forever ... and that is simply unacceptable.

Hi, further to the above, I tried to move the taskbar to the side and now the banner moved up which is even worse now. The banner gives a warning to the host that a connection has been made. Once the host user has been notified, it should be possible to delete the banner, no?
Because this is a computer used by customers in kiosk mode with a touch screen, I was now indeed forced to pay for an upgrade because the banner blocs information, which is not acceptable. Regrettable...!

Hi, since the newest updates, Remote Utilities displays a connection alert on the host computer (again).
Unfortunately, it creates the same problems as described above: it becomes difficult, if not impossible to work on the taskbar even if it is a semi-transparent banner because what is underneath is barely visible.
Please revisit the decision to do so or at least allow us to move the banner. Or is this only meant to force the "now-and-then users" to pay for a license? Thanks in advance to consider this.
