Thank you, I had the mouse locked via the settings and did not realize it.

I have found this to be true: I connect in Full Control mode; even when I, the viewer, is not moving the mouse and do not have my hand on the mouse, the host has no mouse control. I recall that this was not the case in the recent past - I could simply stop using the mouse and the host could then use the mouse.

Thank you, Polina. When the opportunity arises, I will check that out. However, my recollection is that when I am connected to the host, the host has no control of the mouse.

Does remote control to a host disable the host' mouse?
