It seems to be my windows 11 pro laptop as I tried the same quick update on my existing desktop (win10pro) and the PC updated. Same problem with a remote PC  over the internet.
To answer your question versions I am trying to update are 7.1.7.0 , 7.1.2.0 & 7.2.2.0
Any other suggestions?

Just installed Remote Utilities on a new laptop with windows 11.
All working over LAN but when I noticed some PCs are old RU versions, quick update gives message "Unable to complete version check.   Make sure you have internet access.
Any ideas will be gratefully received.
