Hello Conrad,
Many many thanks for your helpful instructions. I did everything necessary according to your guides. Only have to wait for users to restart their systems and see the results.

AD GPO Deployment: Enable Internet-ID by default (Custom Server)

Hello Conrad.
Thanks for your reply. It seems that I have missed this setting. I will check and post result. But there is a question. If I redeploy package through AD, will it replace current configuration or I will have to uninstall all instances and then redeploy? I am using online configurator if it matters.
Regards

AD GPO Deployment: Enable Internet-ID by default (Custom Server)

Support level: Free or trial
Hello
I have a custom server and had deployed host via AD GPO (password-protected settings). Host is installed on all clients seamlessly, but there is a problem. By default, none of the hosts acquire an Internet-ID from custom server automatically. I have to right-click host icon in taskbar, click on Internet-ID connection settings, enter configuration password and click a button to get a new ID. I want this to be done by default. How can I do so?
Regards.

Silent deployment with settings password-protected

Support level: Free or trial
Hello Conrad.
Thanks for your reply. I tested it simply by running the installer. Does it make any difference? I mean if I run using AD GPO, will the installer skip asking password?
Regards

Silent deployment with settings password-protected

Support level: Free or trial
Hi
I'm planning to deploy host using Active Directory (Standard MSI package created via MSI Configurator). I need to password-protect host's settings to prevent our curious users from changing them. But when I tested host's installation on a machine, it asked for password during installation which makes silent installation completely impossible (and you know that I can't give the password to our users!). What am I missing?
Thanks.
