Thank you!  The Use legacy capture mode setting worked.  I still don't understand what caused the issue and why this host needs to be configured this way when other hosts do not.  Nor does it explain why other viewers could connect.  I guess I'll just chalk this up as one of the mysteries of the world.

Viewer and host running Windows 11.  RUT version is 7.1.2.0.  I have one host with an issue.  I can successfully use Chat, File Transfer, Task Manager, Inventory Manager, etc. for this client.  However, I cannot connect to the desktop.  I can view the quickview thumbnail.  I have uninstalled the host app on the client and reinstalled it.  I have uninstalled the viewer and reinstalled it on my computer.  Other viewers can view the desktop.  I get the Connecting to client name.  Please, wait screen, but it never connects.  If anyone has any ideas, please let me know.

I am using a fresh install of 7.0.0.1.  My coworker who is not having the issue upgraded from 6.x to 7.0.0.0 and then to 7.0.0.1.  I suspect you are correct that the next update will resolve this issue.  Do you have any ETA on the next version release date?

I am unable to connect to a host computer if the host has no video display connected.  If I connect to a host and then disconnect the video monitor on the host, I lose my connection and cannot reconnect.  However, other features such as Quick view, file transfer, terminal, task manager, etc. still work.  If I reconnect the display on the host, Remote Viewer will reconnect.  This occurs for any host to which I connect.  I have confirmed other users can connect to the same hosts without this issue.  I assume there is a setting, but I am unable to determine what it might be.  If anybody has any thoughts on how to resolve this, your assistance will be greatly appreciated.

Yes I have 7.0.0.0 so I am installing the 7.0.0.1 to see if the issue goes away.  Thanks for the download link.

I just recently upgraded to version 7 and now when I connect to host also upgraded with version 7 the connection drops and reconnect about every 20 - 30 sec.  Didn't have this issue with 6.10.10.0 (69110).  The interesting thing is I still have some host I didn't upgrade to 7.  They are still running 6.10.10.0 and those connection don't drop.  There is a problem in version 7.  I run my own RUS. That is also running the latest version.

Nope I still have the same connection dropping issue from the time I posted back in September 2017.  It doesn't matter whether I am connecting to a local PC on my LAN or remote PC.  However to be fair I run this on servers and workstation.  Not all of them drop the connection.  But I can sit and monitor the viewer and watch connection show online then offline.

I have been having the same issue since upgrading to the latest version. 6.8.0.1 I Run my own connection server and the problem only started after upgrading.  It's like the connections time out.  Because I close the window and can reconnect immediately.
