Error when running the Host

I wanted to test the Viewer and the Host.
I ran the Viewer and a window appeared that let me customize the view.
When I ran the Host on my computer, there were no messages but nothing seemed to happen.
Is this the way the program operates?
Is the reason that nothing happened because I did not have my Viewer working?
If this was a live run, and the remote user ran the Host would I then be looking at their computer?
Thanks,
Art Sterling

Is it possible to set up a connection to a remote computer without installing the Host?
I don't want to make the Host an application on the remote computer. I just want to be able to connect with them and when I disconnect I want the Host to disappear as though it was never there.
Thanks for your help.

If I am doing things on a remote computer and I want to switch back to my computer to show the other person something and then switch back to the original remote computer can I do this and, if so, how?
Thank you for your help.
