Unfortunately the Legacy Capture Mode did not work.
However, I found a way.
Log in per normal with the RDC option. That'll get you connected with the default 1024x768 scrn. Then right click on the host PC icon and select Properties/RDP/Configure. There you can change the res under the Display tab. There's a scrn res slider that can go to1920x1080, or full scrn all the way to the right. Click Connect at the bottom, and it will reconnect at the new resolution.
I couldn't get it to work any other way.

I'm Using the latest version of RU, (virgin installation) installed on Win11 Pro pc's, both host and viewer.
If I try and connect to the host laptop, with its lid closed, it endlessly tries to connect but never does.
If I try and connect using RDP (Remote Desktop is enabled on host) and select Full Control, It tries to connect endlessly, at 1920x1080, but never does
If I try and connect (dbl click online icon) using RDP and the lid closed it will connect and show the host desktop but only about 1/2 size instead of the 1920x1080 it should be.
How can I connect to the host's lid closed laptop and display the host laptop desktop, at 1920x1080 on the viewer, without it endlessly trying to connect?
