I am using Pop!_OS 20.10 (64-bit) which is based on Ubuntu. System is an 4.2 GHz i5-1135G7, 24GB Ram, NMVe v4 SSD (Samsung Pro 980 @ 500GB) This system is WAY over powered for just running Linux, but you have to enjoy life once right? System is of course from System 76.
Under Linux, When I log into my first remote computer with the Viewer (b8), things seem to work fairly well. Trying to connect to a second almost ALWAYS causes the application to crash. Sometimes, just connecting to a second computer after closing the first will cause crash also. This is not an issue in Windows version.
I am using the Windows versions mainly, but the Linux Viewer on my main laptop. An issue I have with all versions is with screens which are rotated. The Viewer does not take screen rotation into account. One of the PCs I need to be able to remotely control has 4x 1080x1920 screens on it. The Viewer shows my 4x 1080x1080 screens with the mouse off by 90 degrees in the window. Is there just a setting I need to set somewhere that I missed?
Is there a reason why today I am having issues connecting to any remote? Latest Linux Client. Windows clients are showing offline, but do connect eventually....
