Conrad, I updated the private server to 2.6.03 and everything seems to be working now!  Both public and private show correct On/Offline status, and I can log-in to the private server.  For a while, I still had the invalid user error when trying to sign in from the viewer.  I eventually had to delete the user from the server admin console and then re-add it and then it started working.

Thanks for you help,
John

No go.  I uninstalled 6.6.02.  Installed 6.6.03 from the .zip file.  (I did this twice just to make sure).  Erased the config file.  But, when I try to "Sign in", I get the same RSA error as before:

Public server connections are working fine.  Also, FYI, my remote server setup was gone from the viewer and I had to re-add it the the system.  I assume that was because I had to delete the config file?

I have not had a chance to upgrade the server to 6.6.03, I'll do that later today.

Same here.  All public server based connections show offline.  And, unlike before, we are unable to connect to them.

Is there something going on with your public servers?

Thanks,
John

Conrad,

I just updated the server to 2.6.  Now, when trying to login, I get an error that says: "Address Book Error.  Invalid username or password."  But, oddly enough, I AM logged in.  I can see the sites on the server and I can attach to them.  The main viewer window says "Sign in" in the upper right hand corner and it does NOT indicate that I am signed in as before.  BTW, everything on the public servers looks and works fine.

Also, attempting to use the 2.5 viewer now crashes when trying to log in to the 2.6 server.  I get the following error and then it goes into an infinite attempt to login and just sits there.  I have the rest of the error report if you need it.

Conrad,

I just installed 6.6 and the offline issue is fixed.  But, it broke my connection to my local RU server.  I cannot log in to it with 6.6.  Other users with 6.5 login fine, so it does not seem to be a issue with my local server.  I have a mixed environment of connections, some going thru the public server and others on my private server.  The connections via public server is working fine.

Thanks,
John

Conrad, Same problem here.  Started several days ago.  Just wanted to add a little info to see if it helps.  We have set up our own RU Self-hosted server and are testing it for one of our sites and that one site is showing Online / Offline correctly.  Only my sites running on your default, public servers have the problem.

Add me to this "it would be great if you got this fixed" list!  This is the only frustration that we have with RU.  Tried all of the other remote control solutions and RU is the best, except for this issue.

Thanks
