[Resolved] "your ticket was rejected" is ridiculous

I own viewer and server and have many clients with host. My license is current, it's just not the advanced level. So I needed to contact RU help, went to the ticket creation page and made my ticket. The next day I find the response is an automated "you don't have advanced support". Well then why did it let me make a ticket? What a ridiculous system. It just kills a day of needing an answer. The page should say up front you can't make a ticket and either buy higher support or go to forums.

new round of anti-malware blocking RU

RU on many of my clients' systems is getting blocked by both Malwarebytes and BitDefender. This is a new round of this that started this week. Blocked multiple ways. On some the call out from host to server is blocked as being a suspicious or unsafe site. On others the update program is quarantined. I was looking into putting exceptions in all the anti-malware but I was also making sure all clients were up to date. I started "simple update" on a remote system and bitdefender killed the temp file that does the update. Of course I can't make exceptions for every temp case because the paths and files are often random names. I can't fix this from my end. RU has to get these companies to delist them, quick. I literally lose ability to remote in so can't even address it one by one manually.

Nope, the task manager trick didn't work. I have just tried leaving a little of its window showing behind other windows and for the moment that seems to be working, but I would like to know where the keep alive setting is.

keep-alive setting? I haven't seen it. I've tried a bunch of things to keep activity going or keep communication going (looping send commands etc). I'm trying keeping the RU taskmanger open and showing processes which it updates once a minute. So far it looks like that might work. Kind of a pain to have to open that too every time but I'll see if it works.

I've read where this is a known problem, that if you use RDP over ID, if you minimize it or have no activity for a couple min it disconnnects and you have to wait up to a minute for it to retry when you want to go back in. I don't understand why that is at all but especially since I've set up my own RU server. Isn't there some setting in server to tell it to keep alive? I've even tried having something running on the remote screen so it isn't really idle but it doesn't matter. (Yes I could use RU Full Control but RDP seems quicker, is more transparently like you're actually there, and my users are used to it.)
Thanks.

host auto w/alternative server?

Is there a way to install or run Host and automatically point to a private server? Maybe a batch file that runs host with a parameter, or...? I've looked at cmd line params and haven't seen one but this seems like a not so unusual need.

I keep getting a windows msg that "remote utilities has stopped working" with the "close" or "find a solution" btns. When the system is booted RU works. Somewhere along the line it fails like this. When it does it will still allow me to log on, but won't let me view. Where can I find the cause? A particular windows log search string? An RU log? Or maybe you're familiar with this?
