The ability to be able to probe for installed anti-virus/anti-malware applications and be able to update definition files, start a scan, and view threats remotely would be an excellent addition to this software.
Any considerations from your team on this thought?

Just had another thought.
What about the ability to start system updates and status of windows updates?(important/optional updates)
